CSAE Conference at Ameristar

Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE) conducted their annual conference at the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Blackhawk (June 23-25) this year with over 150 association executives in attendance. There was a lot of conversation about the conference facilities at the new Ameristar and how to plan for accomodating additional meetings and conferences in our area over the coming years. Here are some pictures from the event:

The Ameristar facility can conduct meetings with over 500 attendees and provides state-of-the-art equipment in a contemporary setting. Colorado Society Association Executives (CSAE) was founded in 1952. They bring together association leaders to foster professional and personal excellence through unique learning opportunities. It's great for our area to have the ability to support groups and meetings of this size, but to see it in action was fantastic...thanks CSAE and Ameristar!

Madame Lou Bunch Day Photos

Madame Lou Bunch Day started bright and early, with people lining the streets to watch the dancers and entertainment even before the parade began. It was great to see so many people come up for the annual event. It made for some interesting people watching too, as everyone was dressed in their Lou Bunch best.

The bed race was crazy! Everyone was dressed up and really excited to be racing. In the end, Doc Holliday won the coveted prize! Great job everyone, Lou Bunch Day is certainly always an experience! Thanks to Aaron Storms (Publisher & Managing Editor Weekly Register-Call) for the pictures.

Cherry Creek Casino Day Recap

It's always a lot of fun to go to Cherry Creek Shopping Center, but when we take our prize wheel and do this kind of high visibility event, look out! We had around 1,000 people visit us over the course of the day. We were scheduled to start around noon, but when we arrived to setup there were already people waiting to play. If you missed us keep checking to see where we'll be next.

Many people tried their luck with the prize wheel, but some just wanted to know more about all the activities in our area. We had numerous conversations on all the exciting things our visitors are doing these days; in any case, by the end of the day we were out of prizes. When it was over, we got to do a little shopping too!
